A customer rating of  XXX means Hard Core Paste Wax can possibly be too much shine for most eyes. XXX is 47% Brazilian No. 1 Carnauba by volume and formulated with polymers to allow for layering, XXX is sure to create the deepest, wettest, glossiest shine. Directions for Success:

1. Wash vehicle well, with quality carwash shampoo.

2. For superior surface coverage and minimal product use, always apply all Chemical Guys products with Microfiber applicators.  over the wax.

3. Always apply very thin coat a little goes along way in a 2-3 square foot area.

4. Once haze has formed, buff gently away with a clean Microfiber Towel.

5. XXX can be applied in as many coats as desired and can also be layered over any glaze, wax or sealant.

SOME HISTORY ABOUT PASTE WAX.

Much of what detailers and professionals have grown to admire about a multidimensional deep shine or car wax. Is owed to the addition of Brazilian #1 to many and most car wax products. Still today over 50 yrs after the introduction of Carnauba into the car detailing industry, pure carnauba wax is still the professionals choice product for rendering the deepest paint shine available.  Though synthetic waxes and paint sealants have become prevalent in the car care industry over the last several years, very few compare with the easy layered amazing shine and strength of durability  of a  pure carnauba paste wax.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A WAX?

Protection

If your looking for the maximum protection possible without the use to a sealant, then one or two thin coats of wax, maybe even up to three thin coats of XXX wax, has the potential to create the most surface protection. The depth of shine and ability for the  product to be layer however does depend on several factors. For optimal product use it is always recommended to wait at least 20-30 minutes before attempt ion to add another layer. Depending on the wax, the surface itself,  weather condition  and the amount of time that has passed in between applications, results of layering may very. The Chemical Guys strongly believe that knowledge is power,  and the more you know the better it will be so, it is only fair to share the myths of layering. Layering any wax more then 2 times is not necessary, sure exponentially it may seam that you are gaining greater layers of protection with each application, however Chemicals Guys products are for professionals for a reason. Unless your first 2 applications were completely un-uniform and scattered XXX has such a strong and high concentration of wax, one good layer is all you need.

DO I NEED TO LAYER XXX?

Our customers are always asking," Will layering or adding more coats of a product make a finish deeper, darker, and wetter looking with each additional application?".

Generally speaking, when trying to take your car's finish to its maximum potential for clarity, gloss, shine and depth of color/clarity, there comes a point, that you will reach where-upon additional applications of either wax, glaze, polish or sealant will not increase the results of any of those categories.

Saving our customers money and offering the best professional chemicals is what the Chemical Guys are all about.  Sure we want you to but more products from us, but we prefer you use the products correctly and save yourself the money, and furthermore increase your business and income.

FACT: You are more likely to reach the maximum level of shine, clarity, depth and protection if you are using a professional product correctly, then if you are layering million of coats of inferior chemicals incorrectly.
