Polishing: The Art Of Detailing

Auto detailing is mostly a maintenance activity. All the proper wash methods, tools, chemicals, sealants, and waxes are used to reduce the chances of
scratching paint, maintain the integrity and appearance of the automobile and hide minor scratches, swirls, and imperfections. The only part of detailing that
will actually repair paint, remove scratches, and fix problems is machine polishing. Polishing removes the top layers of “dead” paint to level the surface and
reveal a lustrous, deep reflection. Picking the right combination of machine, pad, and chemical is crucial to getting the best results. Chemical Guys V4 All

How To Use:
Hand Application:
  1. Work on cool surface.
  2. Shake Well.
  3. Always work 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
  4. Using a polishing pad, work the V4 All-In-One Polish into the paintwork to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation.
  5. Remove exccess residue using a premium microfiber towel to achieve a brilliant shine.
  6. Follow by applying a coat of your favorite Chemical Guys wax or sealant.

DA Application:
  1. Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad.
  2. Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner.
  3. Spread on speed setting 1.
  4. Set DA machine to speed setting 5-6.
  5. Always work 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
  6. Using moderate pressure, work area in 2-3 passes until polish becomes clear.
  7. Follow with light pressure to finish.
  8. Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel.
  9. For even more durable and long term protection, follow by applying a coat of your favorite Chemical Guys wax or sealant.

Rotary Application:
  1. Apply 4-5 drops to desired pad. Prime pad with Chemical Guys Pad Conditioner.
  2. Set machine 1000-1500 RPMs to spread product.
  3. Always work 2’ x 2’ section at a time.
  4. Using just the weight of the machine (no pressure) work area in 3-4 passes until polish becomes clear.
  5. For final pass adjust speed setting to between 1200-1800 RPMs.
  6. Work until optical clarity has been achieved.
  7. Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel.
  8. For even more durable and long term protection, follow by applying a coat of your favorite Chemical Guys wax or sealant.

This polish really saves a lot of time when detailing a car which is in quite good condition.
Had a vehicle with a few minor scratches and scuff marks. All in one did the job with ease and no waste. I used it with a green, light cutting pad. Can be used very sparingly as it spreads well with only minor residue. With a competitors product I ALWAYS have to wash after cutting due to large amount of dust. This polish wiped away so well, there was no sign of any dust. Saved lots of time and time means money.

Dear Chemical Guys,
Recently I ordered over $3400 in products from your California Office,
where I placed my order with Klara. The pointers she gave us, and tips
on offering a Sealant service and odor Removal service are already
turning us a profit. In just a few days we have done over $2000 in just
sealant jobs with the help of your M-Seal. I wanted to first start by
saying a huge THANK YOU! We received the products in 3 days and the
team was off, to test the products. We have tried so many products over
the years and have yet to find anything that comes close to the speed,
results and amazing ease of use of Chemical Guys products. On Tuesday
we got in a Hit-And-Run Pontiac that just looked very very sad. Troy
our detailer recommended we turn away the business………before giving up
we decided to try a polish or compound and went with your All-In-1
Polish with a Orange Pad like Klara recommended. WOW! All-In-1 is
amazing I have never seen a product work so fast and leave such a
